Opportunities and Challenges Ahead in Real Estate Market
by Laura Lee from Home Trader
The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's Economic Transformation Programme and the development plans that were announced in Budget 2011, especially the Greater Kuala Lumpur project, are expected to spur the RE market.
Speculation that Malaysia will have a general election soon will also affect the market’s performance.
In anticipation of the major adjustments that the real estate market will be undergoing in 2011, Swhengtee International Real Estate Investors Club founder and president Gavin Tee will kick-start the first of its property forecast seminars entitled, “The Best, The Worst all in year 2011”, in Chinese this Sunday (16 January) at Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel, Selangor.
During this full day seminar, Tee will be presenting three talks. His two morning talks are on “Golden investment opportunities of the decade” and “Booming period of a super cycle”.
The forum on “New Year Investments and Strategies” at 1.30pm will feature Tee together with three other panellists. They are lawyer Tee Lian Eng from M/s Tee & Teoh, mortgage consultant Matthew Lee from Mortgage Broker Sdn Bhd and B.I.G Plots Sdn Bhd director Tan Hwa Chuan.
Tee continues in the afternoon with a talk on “Top 11 hotspots in Klang Valley and Malaysia in 2011”.
A similar seminar will be repeated on 22 January at the same venue in English with Ho Chin Soon Research director Ho Chin Soon as its special guest speaker.
